Miami Business Services, Inc. (MBS) is a Tribally-owned 8(a), SB, HUBZone, and SDB certified company located in Indian Country in the City of Miami, Oklahoma. We are an Oklahoma State Corporation with all stock held by Miami Nation Enterprises, a holding company for the Federally Recognized Miami Tribe of Oklahoma.

Miami Business Services, Inc. has a long history in the Office Products Industry both on a local and national level.

MBS was established in 1987 under the original name R&D Ribbons, Inc. This budding new business started as a manufacturer of inked ribbons used in cash registers, calculators, and computer printers. As the industry changed due to advancements in technology, so did R&D. When laser and inkjet cartridges outdated the nylon inked ribbon that were the foundation of the business, management had the foresight to expand the inventory to include original, generic, and reconditioned laser, toner and inkjet cartridges. The majority of sales were initially generated from a 1-800 number. Customers included independent groceries, restaurants, schools, large and small businesses, city governments and their departments, and U.S. Post Offices.

In 2005, change was again on the horizon for the company. R&D Ribbons, Inc. was purchased by Miami Nation Enterprises and Miami Business Services was born.
